1. Basic Warranty ($1 - $999)

• 12-month defect warranty (from the date of purchase)
• 12-month protection against manufacturing defects (Defects must be reported within 30 days of discovery)
• Complimentary cleaning and stone checks
• Complimentary stone tightening (Applies only to stones that are set, not glued or secured by non-traditional methods)

2. Enhanced Warranty ($1,000-$2,499)

• 36-month defect protection
• 12-month coverage against normal wear
• Limited prong maintenance, bail repair, and jump ring repair
• 12-month complimentary services:
• One complimentary sizing within first year (+/- 2 sizes)
• One complimentary chain shortening
• All warranty work must be performed by Paul Bensel Jewelers
• Warranty coverage applies to original components only

3. Premium Warranty ($2,500-$4,999)

• 60-month defect protection
• 24-month coverage against normal wear
  • Prong maintenance
  • Bail, chain end, and clasp repair
  • Jump ring repair
  • Specialized finishing services
    • One rhodium plating (on rings)
    • One re-blackening
    • Reapplication of most types of textures
      • Reapplication of hammered-type and florentine-type finishes are excluded

  • Channel rebuilding

  • Setting head replacement
  • Finishing services
    • Three rhodium platings (on rings)
    • Three re-blackenings
    • Reapplication of most types of textures
      • Reapplication of hammered-type finishes are excluded

Defect: An inherent flaw in materials or workmanship that compromises the piece's intended function or structural integrity, present at manufacture or arising from inherent weaknesses. Characterized by:

• Component separation under normal wear
• Setting failures without external force
• Manufacturing flaws affecting the structure
• Material imperfections impacting function
• Identified through professional inspection by the Paul Bensel Jewelers staff
• Must be reported within 30 days of discovery

Wear and Tear: Predictable deterioration arising from intended use under normal conditions. Distinguished by:

• Progressive metal loss in contact areas
• Expected settling of components
• Natural prong thinning
• Anticipated finish changes

Damage: Alterations resulting from external forces, environmental exposure, improper use, or poor quality repairs. Including:

• Impact deformation
• Effects of chemical exposure
• Caught or snagged elements
• Consequences of improper care
• Poorly executed repair work
